To change my close up photos into a 'vox pop' format, I cropped the photos and made sure that all of the faces were more or less the same size and from the same distance because the pictures had to fit within the same size boxes I made the photos slightly brighter and changed the contrast so that they were a lot clearer. I tried to use the airbrushing technique on Photoshop, but this made the girls look too fake and did not fit the conventions of a newspaper so I decided that I would keep them looking natural so that they wouldn't overshadow the article.
